Round Table Sandown 150 has proudly donated a jungle gym, wendy house and kitchen and appliances to Wings of Inspiration Care Centre in Roodepoort, ahead of the grand opening of their new premises next month.
Wings of Inspiration is a highly impactful organisation consisting of an orphanage, an old age home, a soup kitchen, and a sober home. The new facility expands this offering to more people in dire need, which focuses on providing a safe haven for destitute women and their children.
The donation consisted of a newly built wendy house to be used as a daycare centre, a new jungle gym erected for the children to enjoy, paint to create a child-friendly environment, appliances including a fridge, freezer, washing machine and kitchenware consisting of pots, pans and utensils.
This donation follows the handing-over of two vehicles to the organisation earlier in the year, and further to this, Sandown 150 will be assisting Wings of Inspiration in 2021 with groceries for the home, allowing them to continue to create impactful change to those who need it most.
